Speaking of consultation, this first step is of paramount importance to us. Every patient must be aware that although LASIK is a proven method of surgery it is also a surgical procedure, so a certain element of risk cannot be ruled out. Therefore, we always provide patients with comprehensive advice and discuss with them the various surgical procedures available in refractive surgery. Thorough preliminary examinations allow us to determine which procedure would provide the best results for you.
At our laser centre we perform operations with the excimer laser (LASIK, LASEK, PRK) as well as refractive lens surgery such as ICL and RLE. In the case of high refractive error, a combination of both techniques (BIOPTICS) is possible.
